Alice L. Drake
She was born November 1, 1912 in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Harry O. and
Elsie L. (Marshall) Mosher.
Mrs. Drake was a graduate of Simmons College.
She worked as a secretary for many years before her retirement.
She was a long-time member of the First Congregational Church of Melrose and
the Kappa Swap Shop.She was an avid bridge player.She volunteered at the
Melrose-Wakefield Hospital and the Melrose Red Cross.
Wife of the late Robert W. Drake.Mother of Judith L. DeCoste and her husband
Leonard of Hamilton and Robert W. Drake, Jr. and his wife Maria of San Francisco,CA.
Grandmother of Pamela A. McGrath of Hamilton, L. David DeCoste, Jr. and Stephen P.
DeCoste, both of Chelmsford, Marissa Drake, Vanessa Drake, Taylor Drake and Jessica
Drake, all of San Francisco,CA.Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service at the FirstCongregational Church, 121 West Foster St., Melrose,
Saturday, March 29 at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Townsend, MA
