Alice H. Ralston, age 103 of Melrose died at the Harborside Healthcare Nursing Home, SaugusMonday January 26, 2004 after a brief illness.Alice was born in Melrose and was a life long resident.She was a graduate of Melrose High School and Bryant & Stratton Commercial School.For many years she was a secretary for Stone & Webster.Mrs. Ralston was a member of the First Congregational Church, Melrose, the Melrose Woman's Club, Garden Club and the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital Guild. Alice (Hayes) Ralston was the loving wife of the late Colonel John L. Ralston.Mother of Shirley R. Vance of Melrose.Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Thursday January 29 at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
