Alton Al Savage
Mr. Savage was born February 12, 1922 in Watertown, son of the late Alton E. Savage, Sr. and Gertrude (Mitchell) Savage.
Al graduated from Somerville High School. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He worked as an electrician for Boston Edison for over 30 years. He enjoyed painting, especially oil portraits.
Mr. Savage was the beloved husband of Irene (Bishop) Savage. Loving father of Christine M. Savage and her husband Brian Curley of Needham, Thomas E. Savage and his wife Sandy of Georgetown. Dear brother of the late Virginia Humphrey. Cherished grandfather of Andrew T. Savage, Ryan J. Savage, Elizabeth S. Curley, Christopher Oak, and Andrew Oak. Father in law of the late Kathlene E. (McLaughlin) Savage.
