Nancy Mangan, 55 of Melrose, died suddenly at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Saturday morning October 7, 2006.
She was born in Boston April 1, 1951, daughter to Frank L. Tallent and Edna (Watson) Tallent.
Nancy was a customer service representative for Hartshorne Insurance in Wakefield.She was raised in Charlestown and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1969.She was a member of the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church where she was very active with the Church Youth Group.She was a manager and player for the Melrose Women's Softball League and was well known for her great talent with arts and crafts.
Nancy was the beloved wife of 32 years to David A. Mangan. Loving mother of Kendra M. Mangan and Heather A. Mangan and cherished grandmother of Natalie M. Mello all of Melrose. Beloved daughter of the late Frank L. Tallent and Edna (Watson) Tallent. Devoted sister of Priscilla Botkins, Mary Jane King, Gene Tallent, and Donna Nice all of Malden, Ann Helms of Ohio, Jim Tallent of Charlestown, Frank Tallent of New Hampshire, William Tallent of Everett, the late John Tallent, Leonard Tallent, Richard Tallent, and Edna Tallent. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
