Mrs. Ann (Clemens) Clark, a resident of Melrose and formerly of Malden, passed away on Friday morning, July 24, 2009 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after a period of declining health.She was 82 years old.Mrs. Clark was born on March 20, 1927 in Brighton, one of ten children to the late John Clemens and Theresa (Gormley) Clemens. Mrs. Ann Clark was raised and educated in Everett.She lived in Malden for many years and worked as a kitchen aide at the Greenwood Nursing Home for 10 years.She shared 30 years of marriage with the late Charles E. Clark from 1951 until his death in 1981.Mrs. Clark was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Malden for many years.Mrs. Clark was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Clark with whom she shared 30 years of marriage.Loving mother of Maryann Buckley and her husband John of Melrose, Charles E. Clark III and his wife Karen of S. Boston, Kathleen Bergstrom and her husband Ron of Stoneham, Thomas M. Clark and his wife Christine of Medford, John C. Clark of Lowell, James T. Clark and his wife Zina of Lawrence and Daniel J. Clark and his wife Wendy of Brockton.Dear sister of James Clemens of Utah, and the late Thomas Clemens, Theresa Cameron, Mary Levinge, Gerard Clemens, John Clemens, Arthur Clemens, Louise O'Keefe and Ellen Moran.Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
