Ms. Anne 'Pokey' Cusolito, of Plympton, passed away on Saturday afternoon April 12, 2008 after a brief illness in the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth.She was 47 years old.
Anne was born February 10, 1961, in Boston, daughter of Arthur F. Cusolito and the late Anne (Moore) Cusolito.
Anne, affectionately known as 'Pokey', was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1979.She attended and graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston specializing in Graphic Design.For the past 4 years, Pokey was employed as the Designer for the dog agility magazine, "Clean Run".She was highly involved in agility training for dogs during her work and personal time.She attended many dog agility shows and actively participated in them with her 3 dogs: Bennie, Picabo and DJ.As well as designing, Pokey enjoyed photographing the agility shows.She also enjoyed long walks with her dogs, friends and family.
Pokey was the beloved and longtime companion of Rick DeAmelio and devoted daughter of Arthur F. Cusolito of Melrose and the late Anne (Moore) Cusolito.Dear sister of James F. Cusolito and his wife Andrea of Melrose, Philip J. Cusolito of Atlanta, GA, Karen M. Cusolito and her husband Dan Das Mann of San Francisco, CA, and Julie S. Cusolito of Rockland.Niece of Josephine Hilty and her husband George of W. Peabody and John M. Cusolito and his wife Martha of Melrose.Also survived by many caring cousins and 3 loving dogs Bennie, Picabo and DJ.
