Arthur E. Hovey

He was born March 5, 1910 in Suffern, NY, son of the late Arthur E. and Marie
(Hall) Hovey.
Mr. Hovey was a supervisor at Atlantic Gelatin in Woburn for many years until his
retirement in 1973.He was a long-time active member of the Melrose Highlands
Congregational Church.
Husband of Ruth (Lenfest) Hovey with whom he shared 23 years of marriage and
the late Beulah (Towse) Hovey.Father of Marjorie Sletterink of Reading, Arthur E.
Hovey III of Nashua, NH and Daniel D. Hovey of Portsmouth, NH.Stepfather of Lora J.
Hillis of Needham, Joseph L.Keenom of Melrose, Nancy L. Caron of Merrimac, NH and
Linda S. Kay of Woburn. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral service at the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church, 355 Franklin St.,
Melrose Saturday, Jan. 25 at 10AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
Visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Friday 4-8PM.
