Mrs. Delaney was born July 29, 1923 in Everett, a daughter to the late Layton A. d'Entremont and Lena (Frost ) d'Entremont.
Barbara was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, class of 1941.She graduated from New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in 1944.Mrs. Delaney worked as a Registered Nurse at Choate Hospital and New England Memorial Hospital.She was a long-time member of the Wilmington United Methodist Church.
Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Paul F. Delaney. Loving mother of Jean Carlan Southmayd and her husband, Thomas of Maui, HI and Maryann Frost Delaney.Cherished grandmother of Daniel J. Southmayd and Erin L. Southmaydboth of Maui, HI and Martha J. Delaney of N. Andover.Sister of the late Wilford W. d'Entremont and Martha F. Scannell.
