Betty Johnson a 37 year resident of Melrose,died at the Epoch Senior Healthcare in Melrose onTuesday morning November 15 , 2005at the age of 70. Betty was born in Norfolk, England February 25, 1935and was an assembler for a local electronics company. Betty was the wife of the late George C. Johnson III.Daughter of Bessie (Smith) Wakefield of England and thelate Cyril M. Wakefield.Sister of June McGowan of England. A graveside Service will be held at Wyoming Cemetery, Sylvan Street, Melrose Monday November 21 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Gifts in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
