Beverly T. Harrison

Beverly T. (Blanchard) Harrison, a lifelong resident of Melrose, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at age 73.

Beverly was born in Melrose on January 31, 1952, one of three children of the late Donald R. Blanchard and Janice D. (Wright) Blanchard. Raised and educated in Melrose, she proudly called Melrose home her entire life.

Beverly married Michael Harrison and with loving dedication, raised daughters Jennifer and Jessica. Selfless and loving, she always put others needs first and supported those around her with kindness and compassion.

For many years, Beverly shared her innate empathy as a Nurses Aid at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital and later the Dutton Center in Wakefield. In honor of her selfless care, Beverly was recognized with an award through the hospital and the City of Melrose.

Fun loving, and spirited, Beverly had a certain zest for life. She enjoyed parties with lots of laughter with her extended family, and found joy in moments big and small with her beloved nieces and nephews. She was also a passionate Red Sox fan.

Her resilience, her independence, and spirited nature will carry on in the hearts and minds of her family. May she rest in peace.

Beverly was the beloved wife of Michael J. Harrison with whom she shared 30 years of marriage. Devoted mother of Jennifer Geska of Holly Springs, NC, and Jessica Harrison of Navarre, FL. Sister of Raymond Blanchard and his wife Christine of Melrose, and Donna Rae Bryson and her husband Robert of Peabody. Caring aunt of several nieces, and nephews, and many cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to gather during Visiting Hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Wednesday, February 12 from 4-6pm, and again for her Funeral Service on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 10am. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
