Beverly A. "Bev" (Petri) Kouble, a resident of Revere, passed away peacefully at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House on Friday, June 1, 2012, at the age of 63.
Beverly Ann was born on June 12, 1948 in Frackville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Daniel D. Petri and Margaret M. (Hardik) Petri.Her early childhood started in Frackville, PA before her family moved to Massachusetts.She graduated from Malden High School, Class of 1966 and from UMASS-Boston in 1970 with a degree in English.She received her Master's degree in creative writing from University of New Hampshire.
Beverly's working career began in Pittsfield as a High School English Teacher.After 20 years of teaching, she received training in computer science and worked at BNY Mellon as a Web Technologist for 17 years.
Lovingly known as "Bev" to friends and family, she had lived on Revere beach for many years.With an appreciation for the water, she loved her home on the beach and always enjoyed being near the ocean.Bev also found joy in riding motorcycles.Every year, she and Peter enjoyed their vacation riding his Harley across the West Coast.
Bev was the cherished mother of Heather L. Ainslie of Manchester, NH and Candice L. White of Brewer, ME.Former wife of the late Barry Kouble.Loving grandmother of Ashley, Alec, Alyssa, Daniel, Briana, Jordan, Kayla, Taylor and great-grandmother of Elizabeth.
Relatives and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Bev's life for Visiting Hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose, on Tuesday, June 5 from 4-8 PM, and again for her Funeral Service at the First Lutheran Church, 98 Waite St., Malden celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30 AM.
Gifts in honor of Bev may be made to the Memorial Fund at the Church.
