Brian S. Caruso, a resident of Malden, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at home.He was only 41 years of age.
Brian was born on February 1, 1973 in Melrose, one of five sons of the late Donald F. Caruso, and Jean K. (Meuse) Caruso.He was raised in Malden where he graduated from Malden High School.Shortly after graduating, Brian along with his twin brother, Michael, enrolled in the Local 17 Sheet Metal Workers Apprentice program.He worked as a sheet metal worker for a number of years.
Brian found peace in the natural comforts of the Maine woods.He often visited his favorite campsite on the shores of Crescent Lake, Camp Kokatosi with his family and close friends.It was a safe haven for him, a place to relax and unwind.He loved it there and returned as often as he could.
Brian was always generous with his time, especially with his family.He was always willing to offer his support if anyone needed and took particular joy in looking after his nieces and nephews. Brian will always be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
Brian was the loving companion of Karen Bennett of Malden.He is also the beloved brother of Frank Caruso of Norton, David A. Caruso of Wakefield, John R. Caruso of Quincy, and Michael P. Caruso of Melrose. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
