Mrs. Carol L. (Brison) Pack, of Conway, New Hampshire and Englewood, Florida, and formerly a longtime resident of Melrose, Massachusetts passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2010.She was 77 years old.
Carol L. Pack was born in Melrose on October 30, 1932, a daughter of the late Frederick G. Brison and M. Louise (Greenough) Brison.
Mrs. Pack graduated from Simmons College and attended Boston University.She worked at the Melrose Free Press and as a secretary for the book publisher, Addison-Wesley in Reading.She was a member of the League of Women Voters in Melrose, Phi Theta Xi, and enjoyed singing a cappella in the barbershop quartet, Sweet Adelines.An avid tennis player throughout her life, she continued to play into her mid seventies.She also enjoyed reading and walking.
Mrs. Carol Pack was the beloved wife of the late Arnold V. Pack with whom she shared 38 years of marriage.Devoted mother of Wendy E. Pack of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, A. Pack of Bryan, OH, and Karen Parker Anderson PhD and her husband Larry of Ventura, CA.Dear sister of the late Janet Lampropoulos.Cherished grandmother of Nicholas Penta of Highlands, NJ, Timothy Penta of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, Cameron Penta of Highlands, NJ, Harper Pack of Lake Forest, IL, and Livesey Pack of Lake Forest, IL.Dear aunt of Maria Cussen and her husband Stephen of Albuquerque, NM and Christine Lampropoulos of Boston.
