Mr. Barry was born in Boston November 14, 1920, son of the late Charles S. Barry and Anna (Pierce) Barry.
Charles was raised in Winchester and graduated from Winchester High School.He served in the U.S Air Force during WWII.He was a 30 year resident of Melrose and was a former 20 year resident of Hampton, NH.Charles worked for General Oil in Medford for 30 years.
Charles was the beloved husband of the lateM. Adele(Puffer) Barry. Devoted father of Charles A. and his wife, Nancy of Arlington, Norman M.and his wife Hilary of Boston and Laura A. Hume of Melrose.Cherished grandfather of Jacob C. and Matthew W. both of Arlington, Ashley J. Hume, Donald T. Hume,Nichole A. Hume and Bryan T. Hume all of Melrose.Devoted brother of the late Helen Walker.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory should be made to the memorial fund at the church.
