Charles E. Corkum
Mr. Corkum was born in Everett on May 17, 1916 son to the late Byron N. Corkum and the late E. Pearl (Eastwood) Corkum. He was raised in Melrose and was a retired co-owner of B.N. Corkum Transportation Company, in Malden.
Charles was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Robinson) Corkum of Lynnfield and the late Caroline "Carrie" E. (Nevers) Corkum. Loving father of Barbara A. Metzger of San Rafael, CA and her late husband Philip C., and Donna E. Klopf and her husband Tom of Boulder, CO. Brother of Howard Corkum of Stoneham and the late Evelyn Theobald. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
