Charles C. "Charlie" Deems

Charles “Charlie” Deems, a resident of Tewksbury, MA passed away surrounded by his cherished family on April 22, 2024.  He was 72.

Charlie was born on February 13, 1952, in Baltimore, MD, one of two children to the late Charles and Margaret Deems.  He was raised in Maryland and graduated from Calvert Hall College High School with the class of 1970.  Upon graduating high school, he went on to study at Villanova University.

Following college, he went on to work at the Port of Baltimore and then at Massachusetts Port Authority.  He enjoyed visits full of giggles with his beloved grandkids and was a master of the ill-timed dad joke.

Charlie will be remembered always for his kindness, perseverance, and loving nature.

Charlie will be deeply missed by his children and grandchildren.  He was the devoted father of Gregory Deems and his wife Colleen of Norwell, Jennifer Lawlor and her husband Ryan of Wilmington, and Kristen Deems and her fiancé Chelsea of Dracut. He was the dear brother of Mardi Beauregard and her late husband Chuck.  Charlie is also survived by his 3 beloved grandchildren, Ava, Harper, and Jack, who he loved beyond measure.

Services for Charlie will remain private.
