Charlotte Wise
Mrs. Wise was born in New York, New York, December 26, 1912, daughter of the late Oliver F. Cutts and Eugenia (Ayer) Cutts.
Charlotte was raised in Lewiston, ME and settled in Melrose with her family.She graduated cum laude from Bates College, Lewiston, ME, Class of 1933.She was a longtime member of the Unitarian Universalist Church and was very active in the church throughout her life.She sang in the choir and helped with church fairs for many years.She was a member of Bellevue Golf Club and enjoyed playing tennis and golf.Charlotte loved music and theater and playing duplicate bridge.
Charlotte was the loving wife of the late Robert E. Wise.Devoted mother of Eugenia W. Hathaway of Placentia, CA and her late companion, Richard Miller, Barbara W. Lynch of Concord and John O. Wise and his wife, Marie of North Reading.Dear sister of Jeanette Cutts of Port Charlotte, FL.Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
