She was born in Medford on March 11, 1916, a daughter of the late Ralph B. Sargent and Anne (Rousay) Sargent.
Christine or "Chris" was raised and educated in Medford.For many years, she worked at Raytheon Manufacturing as an Administrative Assistant in Bedford.In 1982 at age 65, she retired from her tenure as a proud Raytheon employee.Christine was a member of the Old South United Methodist Church and Bear Hill Country Club in Reading.She was an avid golfer and loved bowling.
Christine was the beloved wife of the late James J. Linnane and Nelson F. Roche.Loving mother of Peter R. Roche and his wife Sandra of Beverly.Step-mother of Susan Bonner and her husband Bill of Nahant, Katherine Linnane of CO, Christine Hunter and her husband Charles of VT and Celia Fitzpatrick and her husband Chuck of Lynn.Dear sister of Thelma Yeomans of Salisbury and the late Ralph B. Sargent.Cherished grandmother of Peter N. Roche of Danvers and Michael F. Roche of Sydney, Australia.Dear step grandmother of Christopher, Julie and Janine.Also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and 2 step great-grandchildren.
