Christine E. Paris
Born in Boston on March 29, 1964, Christine is one of four children of the late Donna Jean Marie (Kelley) Paris. She grew up in Charlestown and Somerville, later graduating from Somerville High School.
After starting her family, Christine received her certification to become a phlebotomist. She loved her work and took great pride in connecting with each of her patients. Her friendly and easy way put her patients at ease. She began her carrier at Beth Israel then at Hallmark Health in Medford, where she made numerous lifelong friendships.
Family and friends were the most important thing in Christine's life. She and her beloved Paul were married on September 7, 2003. She adored Paul, her children, and grandchildren. She loved being a mom and was exceptionally active in her family's life.
She was generous, kind, loving, and always up for a good shopping trip. Black Friday was one of her favorite days to shop despite all the craziness.
Christine's family will miss her words of love and support, her selflessness to anyone in need, and her bright blue eyes. She will be missed by all who were blessed to be a part of her life, but certainly not forgotten.
Christine was the devoted wife of Paul R. Tavanese with whom she shared 18 years of marriage. Beloved mother of Corina Paris of Medford, Christopher Paris of Saugus, Vincent, and Marc-Anthony Tavanese both of Medford. Loving sister of Donna and Karen Paris, and brother Thomas McNelley. She was the proud grandmother of Anthony, Alexandria, Autumn, Alexis, and Ava.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Friday, Sept. 10 from 4-8pm.All will meet on Saturday atthe Parish of the Immaculate Conception, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, for her Funeral Mass celebrated at 10am.
Masks are kindly requested.
