Mrs. Christine M. (Hillers) Williams of Falmouth, ME formerly of Melrose, MA died early Sunday morning, June 3, 2007 at the OceanView Falmouth House in Falmouth, ME. She was 92 years old.

Mrs. Williams was born August 31, 1914 in Watertown, MA daughter of the late Charles A. Hillers and Mary W. (Hunter) Hillers.

Christine graduated from Watertown High School class of 1933 and from Wheelock College class of 1938. She attended Bryant-Stratton Business School and operated her own private kindergarten in Melrose, MA in 1939 and 1940. She was a lifelong Melrose resident and was an active member of the Trinity Church of Melrose for many years. She taught Sunday School kindergarten at the Trinity Church for six years in the 1930s and was a member of the Altar Guild. She was a past Cub Scout Den Mother and past assistant in Girl Scouting. She was also a member of Kappa Delta Psi Sorority of Melrose, a volunteer in the Kappa Swap Shop and a member of the Melrose Historical Society. She was a former member of the 100th Anniversary Committee of the Melrose Public Library in 1971 and a member of the Longview Alumnae Club of Wheelock College.

Christine was the beloved wife of the late Arnold W. Williams. Loving mother of Nancy H. Crosby and her husband, Douglas of Portland, ME and Richard A. Williams and his wife, Sharon of Milton. Dear sister of R. Thurber Roff of Tarpon Springs, FL, Martha E. Witt of Lynn, and the late Frances H. Wetmore. Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey D. Crosby, Christine C. Jenkins and her husband, Jeremy, Danielle E. Williams, Mark R. Williams, Adam B. Williams. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
