Mrs. Davis was a graduate of Reading High School and was a long-time resident of Melrose before moving to Brewster a few years ago.Mrs. Davis was a retired secretary for 20 years with Metcalf & Eddy in Boston.She was also a secretary for 18 years at the United Church of Christ on Beacon St., in Boston.Mrs. Davis was a long-time member of the First Congregational Church, Melrose, and a member and past chairman of the 200 Club of Melrose and a former member of the Melrose Community Associates.
Mrs. Davis was the wife of the late Albert V. Davis.Aunt of Jean L. Hammond of Orleans, William R. Chesley of Sun City, CA and Arlene Caruso of Lawrence. A graveside service will be held at the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Reading Tuesday, August 31 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
