Mr. Clive S. Willey, of Peabody, formerly of Melrose, died peacefully Thursday evening, November 22, 2007 following a brief illness in the Brooksby Village Renaissance Gardens in Peabody. He was 87 years old.
Clive was born in Harrington, Maine, on December 10, 1919, a son to the late Guy P. Willey and Flora (Curtis) Willey.
Mr. Willey was raised and educated in Harrington, Maine. He graduated from Harrington High School and Northeastern University.For over 20 years, he worked as a Certified Public Accountant for the Boston University Medical Center.He was a member of the Tuscan Lodge AF&AM of Portland, ME and proudly served in the US Army during WWII.Clive was a devoted family man as a husband and father.He very much enjoyed the outdoors and nature.He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with animals.
He was the beloved husband of Marjorie M. (Gibbons) Willey with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.Loving father of Lyn G. Willey and Rae M. Willey both of Melrose, and Sue P. Busiek and her husband, William of Marblehead.Dear brother of Edith Thomas of MN, Veranus Willey of WI, Arnold Willey of ME and the late Harmon Willey.Grandfather of Elizabeth Busiek of Chicago and Kimberly Busiek of N. Andover.
