Connie G. (Savage) Blaney, 72,died suddenly at her home in Melrose on Friday morning, October 28, 2005. Connie was born June 3, 1933 in Old Town, ME, daughter of the late Franklin and Margaret (Jonah). Connie graduated from Old Town High School in Old Town, ME and has been a resident of Melrose since 1952. She was a member of the Melrose Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
Connie was the loving wife of 52 years to Norman H. Blaney. Devoted mother of Marjorie L. ''Marge'' Leahy and her husband, Bill and Elisabeth G. ''Beth'' Bryan and her husband Scott all of Windham, NH. Cherished grandmother of Meghan E. Leahy, Brenna L. Leahy, John N. Bryan and Elisabeth M. Bryan all of Windham, NH. Sister of F. Bruce Savage of FL. Connie is also survived by her many loving friends, neighbors, and neighborhood children. Funeral Service at the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church, 355 Franklin St., Melrose, Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
