Constance F. (Tomarchio) "Connie" Sarcione, resident of Melrose, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Tufts Medical Center.She was 83.
Born in Lawrence on February 27, 1938, Connie was one of three children of the late Alfred and Mary (Pellegrino) Tomarchio.She grew up in Lawrence graduating from Lawrence High School.
Connie worked as a Bookkeeper for Waldon Supply Company for many years, and also worked for the Melrose Housing Authority, and General Services Administration as a stenographer and bookkeeper.
She was a member of the League of Women Voters in Melrose and enjoyed trips to Foxwoods.She also enjoyed spending time with her friends.
Connie is the former wife of Edward V. Sarcione of Wells, ME.Loving sister of Maryann Mattos of Hutchinson, KS, and Philip Tomarchio of Chelmsford.She is also survived by her close friends Phyllis and Charles Kiklis, Elaine Sutton, and the late Josephine R. Kiklis and family, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Wednesday, April 28 from 4-7pm. Funeral services for Connie will remain private.All attendees are required to wear masks, maintain social distancing, pay their respects, and exit the Funeral Home promptly to allow other guests to enter. A limited number of guests will be allowed in the building at one time.Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
