Mrs. Constance E. "Connie" (Ross) Webber, of Sandown, New Hampshire, and formerly a longtime resident of Melrose, passed away peacefully at Aurora Senior Living in Derry, NH, at the age of 94.

Constance was born on June 15, 1918 in Staten Island, New York, one of four children of the late Herbert R. and Ada C. (Hoerle) Ross. Lovingly known as "Connie" to family and friends, she graduated from Altamont High School in upstate New York.She married William S.B. Webber and they moved to Melrose where they raised two sons. Mrs. Webber was a longtime devoted member of the Green Street Baptist Church in Melrose.

Mrs. Webber worked in various positions for many years in the Boston area.She began her career at Hollingswoth & Whitney Co. in Boston, continued at National Co. in Melrose for 10 years, and retired after 13 years at American Mutual Ins. Company in Wakefield.

In her spare time, Connie had two main passions, golf and bridge.Wherever she was, Connie always found time to enjoy both with her many friends.She was also an avid scrabble player, and loved gardening.Connie was a proud grandmother and above all else, loved spending time with her 5 grandchildren.

Connie was the beloved wife of the late William S.B. Webber with whom she shared 31 years of marriage.Devoted mother of Ross B. Webber and his wife Linda of Derry, NH and Mark E. Webber and his wife Tish of Hampstead, NH.Loving sister of Grace R. Kimmey of VT, the late Everett L. Ross, and Ruth R. Sager.Cherished grandmother of Sam, Elizabeth, Matthew, Emily and Christopher.Dear longtime friend of Cheryl C. Campbell and her husband John of Andover.
