YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE
Courtney Elyse Beauchesne, of Melrose, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, July 2, 2007. She had lived courageously with Spinal Muscular Atrophy - Type II since birth and despite all odds she lived and persevered until God called her home. Courtney now experiences freedoms and enjoys a body without restrictions. She is at peace.
Courtney leaves her parents, Mark E. and Meredith L. (Tibbetts) Beauchesne; her siblings, Daniel E., Andrew D. and Brooke F. Beauchesne, all at home; her maternal grandparents, Douglas J. and Jean E. (Richardson) Tibbetts of Jacksonville, Florida; her paternal grandparents, Linda E. (Martin) & Greg J. Casey, of Manchester, New Hampshire; her maternal great-grandparents, Orlando L. and Phyllis M. (Jones) Tibbetts, of Penny Farms, Florida; her aunts and uncles, Amy B. (Tibbetts) O'Meara and her husband, Kevin, of Chelmsford, Kimberly Ann Beauchesne of Melrose, Jenniffer E. Beauchesne of Peabody and Charles R. Beauchesne of Las Vegas; a god-child, Maddox J. O'Meara of Chelmsford and a host of friends and classmates.
Courtney was born March 12, 1998 in Melrose. She now joins her late maternal great-grandparents, Norman E. and Sally I. (Stansfield) Richardson and her late paternal great-grandparents, James F. and Anna M. (O'Neil) Martin.
She was to enter the fourth grade at The Lincoln School in September. Courtney loved to dance and took classes at the Melrose Dance Academy in both ballet and lyrical. She was also a Melrose Pop Warner Cheerleader.
Services:A Funeral Service in Celebration of Courtney's life will be held at 10:00AM Monday July 9th in The First Baptist Church, 561 Main Street, Melrose. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Visiting hours 4:00 - 8:00PM Sunday at The Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, Melrose.
