David E. Finigian

Mr. David E. Finigian of North Reading died suddenly August 18, 2004.
David was born September 30, 1940, son of the late Martin M. and Saveria Rose (Pullicino) Finigian.
David was a graduate of Melrose High School, class of 1958, and served in the United States Army National Guard for eight years.
David was the owner of Scully Associates of North Reading, a manufacturer's representative organization specializing in automotive and paint and body. He was a talented salesman, who really knew the automotive business. In addition to selling his product, he also was able to service all of his customers by fixing machines that had broken down, or products that weren't performing properly.
David was a hard working, energetic person who loved his family and showed it daily. One of his greatest pleasures was working on his boat, "Take Time", and cruising on the ocean out of Gloucester with his wife, Beverly. David took great pride in his boat, and he kept her spotless. He did all of the engine work himself, as well as the maintenance and upkeep. Going fishing on Grandpa's boat was a special treat for his four grandchildren, along with going to the beach and staying overnight.
David was a gourmet cook, and enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He and his wife loved to dance and listen to music together. They enjoyed visiting coastal Maine and the Cape by boat or by car.
Beverly will always remember the love and caring David showed her constantly, and all the things he did to make her life easier. David and Beverly were married for over forty years, and had known each other since high school. Life without him will be empty indeed.
David was the beloved husband for a lifetime to Beverly R. (Whitford) Finigian. He was the loving and helpful father of Lisa M. Neukuckatz and her husband Hans E., of North Andover, and Wanda Finigian McLaren and her husband Thomas N., of Wilmington and wonderful, caring grandfather of Paulina Rose and Aaron James Neukuckatz, David Franklin and Leila Finigian McLaren. Dear brother of Martin Finigian and his wife Charlotte, and Frances M. DiFabio and her husband John, all of Cape Coral, Florida. Loving uncle of Ann, Martin, and John Finigian, Deanna Denman, Susan Daugherty, and Julie Kennedy.
Funeral service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, Melrose, Monday, August 23, at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday, 2-6:00 P.M.
