David T. Parks
David was born on July 11, 1933 in Stoneham, one of two sons of the late Tremaine E. Parks and Bessie L. (Oxner) Parks.He graduated from Stoneham High School and served in the US Army during the Korean War.For many years, he worked for Cambridge Electric Utilities as a lead lineman.
On August 28, 1986, he married Ann McGinnis at St. Patrick's Church and they resided in Stoneham for many years.
David will be lovingly remembered as the husband of Ann (McGinnis) Parks with whom he shared 27 years. Brother of the late Herbert W. Parks. Uncle of Deborah Parks and Wayne Parks, both of Wirtz, VA.He is also survived by longtime special friends, Angelo and Faith Sicari of Stoneham, and Susanne Holland of Lynn.
Relatives and friends will honor David's life by gathering at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose for his Funeral Service celebrated on Thursday, October 24 at 10 AM.Interment with US Army military honors will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
