David J. Santoro
David was born on March 9, 1969, a son of Robert J. Santoro and the late Mary L. (Bailey) Santoro.
David or "Dave" as he was affectionately known was raised in Wakefield and graduated from Wakefield High School, class of 1987.He worked as a truck driver for National Oak Distributers in Somerville for the last 12 years.On the weekends, he enjoyed being a vendor at the Grandview Flea Market in Derry, NH with his partner and closest friend, Kevin Stewart. He also enjoyed watching sports, cooking, karaoke and spending time with his beloved family and friends.Above all else, Dave loved his family, especially his wife, Jennifer, and children, Bobby and Jessie, and always put them first.
Dave was the beloved husband of Jennifer M. (Orrell) Santoro with whom he shared 15 years of marriage.Cherished son of Robert J. Santoro of Stoneham, the late Mary L. (Bailey) Santoro, and Barbara (Carbone) Santoro of Stoneham.Loving father of Robert D. Santoro and Jessica M. Durland both of Bedford.Dear brother of James A. Santoro of Stoneham, Nickolas Carbone of Beverly and Victor Carbone, Jr. of Auburn, NH.Loving son-in-law of Brenda M. Orrell of Melrose and the late Charles H. Orrell.Dear brother-in-law of Heather J. Gath and her husband Michael of Plymouth, Elizabeth A. Orrell of Wilmington and Charles E. Orrell of Melrose.Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Tuesday, June 15 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in love and remembrance of Dave at Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours on Monday from 4-8 PM. Entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.Gifts in Dave's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
