Dawn L. Taylor, of Everett, died Wednesday evening, January 14, 2009 at Melrose - Wakefield Hospital after a period of declining health.She was 76 years of age.

Dawn Taylor was born July 25, 1932 in Everett, a daughter of the late William H. Taylor and Florence (Ward) Taylor.

She was raised and educated in Everett and graduated from the Whidden Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1953.She worked in the operating room at Whidden Memorial Hospital and at Malden Hospital as a surgical nurse for many years.Dawn enjoyed her life and was always up for a game of cards or bowling.She loved the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and especially adored her nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Dawn was the devoted sister of the late William E. Taylor. Cherished aunt of Bruce E. Taylor and his wife MaryAnne of Pepperell and Glenn W. Taylor and his wife, Paula of Wakefield. Dear great aunt of Adam Nolette and Megan Nolette both of Pepperell and Joseph Holmes of Wakefield. Dear friend of many years to Deb Hagman and her extended family of Reading.

Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, on Monday, January 19 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours on Sunday from 2-5 PM.
