Dolores was born June 28, 1947 in San Diego, California, a daughter to the late Salvador Saavedra and Teresa (Rodriguez) Saavedra.
Dolores, "Lola" as she was affectionately known, was raised and educated in San Diego, CA.She settled in Melrose in 1968 and worked for several banks over 30 years as a bank teller.While battling the illness, she was a member of the Breast Cancer Support Group at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Lola was the loving mother of Elizabeth "Libby" Pierce of Melrose.Also survived by a loving family and many dear friends.
