Doreen was born on June 23, 1965 in Malden. She was raised in Saugus and graduated from Saugus High School. Doreen was billing manager for Dagle Electrical Construction in Woburn for 6 years. She loved having parties for family and friends; and her home was open to everyone. She loved baking Christmas cookies, camping and planning trips for her family.
Doreen was the beloved and loving wife of Gary R. McManus with whom she shared 26 years of marriage. Cherished daughter of Marilyn L. Hughes of Saugus and James H. Coviello of Stoneham. Devoted and loving mother of Laura Camille McManus and Kathryn Elaine "Katie" McManus both of Saugus.Dear sister of James H. Coviello Jr. of Boston, Keith D. Coviello of Derry, NH and Karyn B. Townsend of Halifax. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will gather in honor and remembrance of Doreen's life for Visiting Hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Monday, July 9 from 4-8 PM.Her Funeral will be held from the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose, on Tuesday, July 10 at 9:30 AM followed by her Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Margaret's Church, 431 Lincoln Ave., Saugus at 10:30 AM. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
