Mrs. Betty Taylor a long time resident of Melrose, died at her home on Friday morning September 23, 2005 with her family at her bedside. Betty was born in Everett on January 2, 1925, the daughter of the late George S. Kenison and Marie (Gramstorff) Kenison. Betty was raised in Everett and graduated from Everett High School in 1942. For many years she was a bookkeeper at the Royal Globe Insurance Company and she was also a member for many years of Trinity Church in Melrose. Betty was the beloved and loving wife for 58 years to William E. Taylor and the devoted mother of Bruce E. Taylor and his wife, MaryAnne of Pepperell and Glenn W. Taylor and his wife, Paula of Wakefield. Betty was the sister of Jean L. Cassidy of Woburn and the late George S. Kenison Jr.Sister in law of Dawn L. Taylor of Everett and the cherished grandmother of Adam Nolette and Megan Nolette both of Pepperell and Joseph Holmes of Wakefield.Funeral service at Trinity Church, 131 WestEmerson St., Melrose, Tuesday, September 27 at 10 AM.
