Doris G. Swain
of Melrose, a homemaker, died March 6, 2004 at the Harborside Healthcare of Wakefield.Doris was born in Medford November 12, 1912, daughter of the late Arthur Contant and Cora (Dodge) Contant. She was a resident of Melrose for over 50 years. Doris was the wife of the late Kenneth W. Swain. Mother of Priscilla J. Swain of Petaluma, CA, Kenneth W. Swain, Jr. of Topsfield and John C. Swain of Belvedere, CA.Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose Thursday March 11, 2004 at 10 AM.Gifts in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army 147 Berkeley St. Boston, MA02116 or to Hallmark Health Hospice 100 Hospital Rd.Malden, MA02148.
