Dorothy M. Buchert
Mrs. Buchert was born June 29, 1912 in Arlington, daughter of the late Ernest B. Wells and Inez S. (Priest) Wells.
She was a graduate of Arlington High School, class of 1930. After moving with her family to Melrose in 1943, Dorothy became a very active member of the Trinity Church. She served on the Altar Guild, taught Sunday School and was a Den Mother at the Cub Scout Pack. She was also a member of the "Booster's Club" which was both a social organization and a supporter of Melrose sports.
Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Gerald F. Buchert.Loving mother of Thomas W. Buchert and his wife Beverly of Naples, FL and the late James F. Buchert and his wife Betty of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of Scott J. Buchert of Topsfield, Daniel G. Buchert of Melrose, Wendy W. Benedetto of West Tisbury, Tammy F. Whan of Richmond, RI, and Thomas W. Buchert, Jr. of Vineyard Haven. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
