Dorothy was born in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Harry H. Hamilton and Clara M. (White) Hamilton.
Dorothy was raised in Medford, and was a graduate of Medford High School. She was a Bookkeeper for the Lynnfield School Department and was also a secretary for the Danvers School Department. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #52.Dorothy loved to be with her family and friends and traveling.
Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late John H. Hanson with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.Devoted mother of Wayne H. Hanson and his wife, Pauline of Hudson, NH.Cherished grandmother of Eric W. Hanson and his wife Sharon of Topsfield and Craig A. Hanson and his wife Denise of Wilmington.Dear sister of the late Ruth Murray and Bessie Hamilton.
