Mrs. Popkin was born February 9, 1911 in Mars Hill, Maine, daughter of the late Otis and Rebecca (Nightingale) Burtchell.
Mrs. Popkin was a bookkeeper for many years for P. O. Reardon Forwarding Company of Boston.She had previously worked as a receptionist for Dr. Gilpatrick in Boston.She was a member of the Centre Methodist Church in Malden.
Wife of the late Meyer L. Popkin.Mother of Charles A. Popkin of Chelmsford and Anne M. Gordon of Fieldingwood, FL.Sister of Merle Burtchell of N. Attleboro.Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE, Saturday, Feb. 7 at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Interment in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA
