Mr. Edward 'Ted' Bockley Sr., Of Medford, died on Saturday, January 15, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was 86.

Beloved husband of Helen (Newman) Bockley with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Devoted father of Dennis Newman (Marie) of Reading, Dorothy Newman-Burke (David) of Medford, Edward Bockley Jr. (Robin) of Lynn, Erich Bockley (Lisa) of North Reading, Laura Bockley-Kenney (Jimmy) of Medford and the late Louise Shapanka; father-in-law of Andrew Shapanka (Alessandra) of NC and Emily Bockley of Melrose; 'Papa' to 16 cherished grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Relatives & friends will gather in honor of Ted's life for a visiting hour at Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Thursday, January 20th from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m (masks required) before leaving in procession to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford for his Funeral Mass celebrated at 11:30 am (masks required). Interment with Honors by the U.S. Air Force in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be made to Cure Alzheimer's Fund, 34 Washington Street | Suite 310, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481 or www.curealz.org.
