Mr. Worthylake was born May 30, 1916 in Stoneham, MA, son of the late James Worthylake and Louise (Stannard) Worthylake.
Ned was raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School. He was a former member of the Centre United Methodist Church, Malden.He was also a member of the Mount Hood Golf Club, the VFW - Malden Post #639 and had worked as a Machinist for over 30 years at General Electric.
Ned was the beloved husband of 62 years to Norma F. (Cunningham) Worthylake.Devoted father of Marsha L. Mackie of Hooksett, NH and Deborah R. Benson and her husband, Joseph of Billerica.Brother of Marion Jones of Craftsbury, VT, Ruth White of Walpole, James Worthylake of Melrose and the late Louise Maines.Cherished grandfather of Tammy Mackie of Fl, Heather Mackie and Jill Benson, both of Billerica and Matthew Benson of Waltham.Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
