Mrs. M. Elaine (Crockett) Howland, of Melrose, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 in Epoch Senior Healthcare, Melrose after an illness. She was 75 years old.
She leaves her husband of 43 years, Gerald R. Howland; her mother, Olive (Viccaro) Crockett of Melrose; her sister, Dorothy Dunnigan of New Smyrna; many nieces & nephews; grand-nieces & grand-nephews.
She was born November 4, 1931 in Rochester, New Hampshire, a daughter to the late Albert Crockett and has lived in Melrose many years. She was a graduate of Melrose High School, class of 1949.
Mrs. Howland worked as a stock manager for American Greetings Company in both CVS and Brooks Pharmacy in Melrose. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Melrose.
