Mrs. Eleanor (Pasho) Crocker, a longtime resident of Melrose, died on Saturday morning, February 12, 2011 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.She was 97 years old.
Mrs. Crocker was born on February 25, 1913 in Billerica, the daughter of the late Harry J. Pasho and Elizabeth A. (Rosenthal) Pasho.
She was raised in Billerica, graduated from Billerica's Howe High School and from Burdett College in Boston with a secretarial degree.She worked as a secretary at Chesapeake and Ohio Railway for 30 years, as the office manager at the Employers Group of Motor Freight Carriers for 8 years, and retired after 10 years at Liberty Mutual Insurance Co.She will be remembered for her love of reading and as a magnificent cook.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ellis M. Crocker.Loving companion of over 50 years to the late Timothy J. Casey.Dear aunt of Betty A. Clancy and her late husband William F. of Billerica.Loving cousin of Willa F. Pasho of FL, Linda Lovett of Wayland and the late Mary A. Pasho.Great aunt of John J. Clancy of Billerica.Also survived by her dear longtime friend, Judy Sergi and her husband Frank of Derry, NH and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St, Melrose on Thursday, February 17 at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 3-6 PM.Interment in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
