Mrs. Eleanor D. (Pierce) Puffer of North Andover, formerly of Gloucester, MA and Melrose, MA died August 12, 2003 at the WingateNursing Home in Andover. Mrs. Puffer was born September 28, 1918, in Boston, MA daughter of the late Elmer E. and Gertrude E. (Clark) Pierce. Mrs. Puffer was a graduate of Lasell Jr. College and was an accomplished artist and was a member of the Cape Ann Watercolor Painters in Rockport, MAthe three Gs and Phi Theta Xi of Melrose. Eleanor D. (Pierce) Puffer was the wife of Daniel W. Puffer.Mother of Robert P. Puffer of Cambodia and Ann C Puffer of Juneau, Alaska.Sister of the late Theodore C. Pierce.Grandmother of David A Puffer of Boston. A private service will be held.
Gifts in her memory may be made to the Rockport Art Association, 12 Main St., Rockport, MA 01966.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster, MA
