Elizabeth J. Baker
of Melrose died at her daughter's home in Nottingham, NH on Tuesday evening October 12, 2004.
Elizabeth was born February 22, 1906 in Salem, MA daughter of the late John and Mary Jane (Gillander) Wilson. Mrs. Baker was a life long resident of Melrose and she graduated from Melrose High School, class of 1924 and Burdett Business College in Boston. Elizabeth was the wife of the late Attorney Carleton N. Baker.Mother of Irene C. Gillespie of Nottingham, NH, Roger A. Baker and his wife Joyce of Savannah, GA and Bruce W. Baker and his wife Ruth of Otisfield, ME.Mrs. Baker was also survived by 10 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Saturday October 16 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours Friday 6-8 PM.Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.Gifts in her memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA02114.Arrangements by Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose, MA.
