Mrs. Sears was born in Melrose, October 26, 1914, daughter of the late Charles L. and Marion L. (Lyons) Stone.
Mrs. Sears was raised and educated in Melrose.She lived in Winthrop from 1937 - 1969 when she returned to Melrose.She had worked as a Clerk for New England Life Insurance for many years.She enjoyed knitting, painting and crafts.She and her late husband, John Henry, had shared 22 years of marriage.
Wife of the late John Henry Sears.Mother of Jacquelyn Sears of Melrose and the late John H. Sears, Jr.Mother-in-law of Lillian A. Sears of Jay, ME.Sister of Dorothy M. McCarthy of Melrose.Grandmother of John H. Sears III of Rockland, ME and Victoria E. Gordon of Farmington, ME.Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Saturday, Sept. 3 at 10AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM.
