Elsa was a housewife and a member for many years at the First Baptist Church, Melrose. Elsa V. (Nyquist) Merritt was the wife of the late Waldo Elton Merritt.Mother of Nancy C. Hayward and her husband Gordon E. of North Reading. Grandmother of Sharon Williams of North Reading andSandra Bakos of Flemington, NJ.Great grandmother of Sarah Williams andSonja Williams both of North Reading and Alexander Bakos and Ashley Bakos both of Flemington, NJ.
Memorial Service at the First Baptist Church (corner of Main and Upham St.) Melrose Thursday September 2 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, MA.Gifts in her memory may be made to the Scandinavian Living Center, 206 Waltham St., West Newton,MA02465.
