Emily was born May 1, 1915, in Everett, daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (D'Orazio) Spadaro. Emily grew up in Everett, graduating from Everett High School in 1933. She was a bookkeeper for 17 years at the Order of Sons of Italy in America.Emily was a parishoner at St. Joseph's Church in Wakefield.
Emily was the wife of Peter A. Correggio, Sr. with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.Mother of Peter A. Correggio, Jr. and Paula F. Cerrato and her husband Gerard, all of Stoneham.Grandmother of Peter A. Correggio of Revere and Felecia E. Cerrato and Christina N. Cerrato, both of Stoneham.Sister of the late Madeline Haner.
FuneralMass at St. Joseph's Church,Albion St., Wakefield, Thursday, January 15 at 9AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
