Emily Ann Pollard of Los Angeles, CA, formerly of Melrose, MA died at home on July 28, 2004. Emily Ann had lived in Melrose until 1968 when she moved to California. She was a Senior Customer Service Representative with Western Airlines from 1973 to 1987 when they were bought by Delta Airlines.She was with Delta Airlines until her retirement in 1993.
Emily Ann was the daughter of the late John Wadleigh Pollardand Christine (Learmonth)Pollard.Emily Ann leaves many cousins in the United States and Canada, her dog Winston Wellington, loving and helpful friends William J. White of Exeter, NH.Life long friend of the Wadleigh andPollard families of Exeter, NH and Newfields, NH.,Anne Petkewich of Saugus and her late husbandDominick and their families;Karen Coughlin, Jay and SusanDonavan, James and Audrey Petkewich, Paul and Lynn Petkewich and families, Lupita and Ratnam Swami of Santa Monica, CA and Ora Alcox of Englewood, CA.Visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE Friday August 6 from 4-7 PM.
A graveside service will be held at the Wadleigh gravesite at Exeter Cemetery, on Linden St., (opposite the Exeter High School) Exeter, NH.Saturday August 7, 2004 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
