Erwin S. Ski Skrabut
of Malden died Saturday, September 4, 2004 at the Epoch Senior Healthcare of Melrose after a brief illness.
"Ski" was born in Chelsea, son of the late Stanley and Mary R. (McGauley) Skrabut. He was a resident of Malden for over 45 years.
and worked at the General Electric Company inLynn and Everett as a Heliac Welder for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Malden Elks and the VFW in Malden and he was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. Erwin was the husband of Rita C. (Cassidy) Skrabut. Father of Joyce Giglio, Stanley Skrabut both of Carver and the late Donna Catalano. Step father of Carolyn Vicari of Peabody. "Ski" was the brother of Helen Anthony of Portsmouth, NH,Ruth Koolian of Saugus and Mary Rose Miedico of Haverhill. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Forestdale Cemetery, Forest St.,Malden Thursday, September 9 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
