Esther L. Powers
Esther was born in Boston December 27, 1914, daughter of Walter E. Powers and Sarah E. (Dennehey) Powers.
Esther was raised in Arlington and was a hairdresser for about 70 years and for over 25 of those years, she owned Moderna Hair Salon on Massachusetts Ave.In Cambridge.She also serviced the elderly in senior housing in Cambridge.
Esther was the sister of the late Joseph, Walter E. and William F. Powers.Sister-in-law of Ruth J. Powers of Melrose, Mary R. Powers of Hyde Park and the late Ruth Powers.Aunt of Walter Powers of NJ, Bonnie Robinson of North Reading, Linda Beaulieau of Tewksbury,Carol Hemnes of Lexington and Jean Murray of Cambridge.Dear friend of Rose and Dolly Coppola of Arlington.Also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews.
