Marlene was born on July 22, 1937 in Dover, TN, one of four children of the late Bryan L. Waggoner and Mayme (Lancaster) Waggoner.
Marlene was raised in Granite City, Illinois and was a career employee in the personnel office for the United States Army and the United States Air Force.She retired from Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford after 40 years.Originally from Illinois, Marlene grew to love New England for the seasons, beaches and mountains.
Marlene was the beloved wife of 30 years to Frederick T. Beshong.Loving mother of Doug Lindsey of Granite City, ILand Mark A. Mercer of Collinsville, IL.Dear stepmother of Victoria S. Beshong, Richard J. Beshong and Jim Beshong all of England.Dear sister of William K. Waggoner of Kansas City, MO, Newman Eugene Waggoner of Bowie, TX and the late Bryan Waggoner.Dear grandmother of Jack Beshong and Michael Beshong.
